What is Farm Sci-Ed?

Farm Sci-Ed is a multi-disciplinary program designed to show the science and education behind farming. Pronounced “Farm Side,” the program aspires to bring a touch of humor to the conversation about science, education, research and farming.

Launched in 2021, Farm Sci-Ed brings viewers into the research plots at the Panhandle Research, Education and Extension Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The show covers topics within entomology, plant pathology and weed science, specifically within the focus of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The host Emily Stine, meets with researchers Jeff Bradshaw, Bob Harveson, and Nevin Lawrence to guide viewers through their research projects.
